Aria De Zabal is a self-taught artist born in northern Spain. From a humble family with no artistic tradition, she cultivated her passion for drawing from childhood, dedicating herself to capturing portraits of people and illustrated stories on paper, telling stories inspired by her own life.
Her thirst for creation and self-knowledge contributed to her experimenting in various artistic fields, such as social, fashion, and beauty photography. After several years working in the sector, she embarked fully on her individual journey and decided to dedicate herself entirely to drawing.
Currently, through her figurative drawings, she invites us to explore our mere existence, capturing the beauty of the human form through expressive gestures and subtle postures. Although beyond realistic representation, her work connects the tangible and the ethereal, inspiring those who contemplate it to lose themselves in introspection.
Her creations propose a pause in time, a moment to connect with our longings, our aspirations, and our deepest essence. Thus, her drawings allow us to project our own emotions and interpretations, creating a unique and personal experience.
Dedicating countless hours to each piece, for her it is a moment of expression, harmony, and freedom. While drawing, she enters a state of presence and connection that she reflects in all her work and invites those who contemplate it to self-discovery.
